Cowan Softball Team Makes Quick Work of Centerville

The Cowan Softball team continued to put up big numbers Wednesday evening as they traveled to Centerville.  Whitney Huff hit a grand-slam home run and improved her pitching record to 8-0 to lead Class A No. 2 Cowan to a 15-2 win in five innings against Centerville. Kellsie Mace had three hits for the Blackhawks, and Allie McCreery, Mallory Bruner, Shelby Wilcoxon and Kirsten O'Conner all had two. McCreery and Wilcoxon each added a home run. Cowan will play again this Saturday at home vs Wapahani.
