Softball Wins at Winchester

Class A No. 2 Cowan beat Winchester 10-0 in six innings on the road Thursday evening. Makayla Keating and Mallory Bruner each went 3-for-4 for the Lady Blackhawks. Whitney Huff and Berkley Koger each collected two hits. Huff started in the circle and pitched five innings of one-hit ball. She struck out 11. The team is now 15-1 on the season and will travel to rival Wes-Del on Saturday for a double header. First game is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM.
