Home » Girls' Hockey NewsCardinals Host Outdoor Game for MN Warrior ProjectJanuary 9, 2013 By Jessica Christopherson of Coon Rapids Girls HockeyOn Saturday, January 12, the Cardinals will host Blaine in the 3rd Annual Outdoor Classic at the Coon Rapids Ice Center. The event doubles as a fundraiser for the MN Warrior Project - an initiative supporting wounded war veterans that have formed a hockey club in Minnesota. The event will include special guests, including an honorary puck drop, colorguard, a silent auction, shirt sales and more. All proceeds go back to the MN Warriors. Please join us for some outdoor hockey, a great rivalry and support a great cause. Indoor viewing is available and there is no admission charge for the game. JV game starts at 1:00pm and Varsity will play at 3:00pm.
