Markell is a true point guard who can handle the rock and dribbles low to the ground. He has good court vision and able to find a open teammate at a split second. He has good body control when going to the basket to finish. He is a aggressive defender who poses problems for opposing teams.
He also plays cornerback in football at Southwest Dekalb High School. In one steal you can see football athleticism he has.
It will interesting to see how he does over the AAU season and see what areas he will work to improve on for next season.
