Beacons Grab a Win - 4/12/12

The Beacons hosted the Brooklyn Center Centaurs on Thursday in their first Tri-Metro conference game of the season.  The Centaurs got on the board first with 2 runs but the Beacons quickly answered with a couple runs of their own to tie the game.  The Beacons got another run in the 3rd inning and added another run in the 6th to grab the 4-2 victory over the Centaurs.  Sophomore pitcher, Courtney Larson, struck out the side in the top of the 7th to end the Centaurs chances.

The Beacons will host their 2nd conference game today against the St. Agnes Aggies at 4:30pm.
