The Beacons are coming off a 72-21 win over Minneapolis Edison on Tuesday. CA completely dominated this one and all 14 rostered players got into the action. Senior center Megan Fallert led the way with 14 points on 7/10 shooting. She also pulled down 8 boards. Ninth grader Anika Neuman had a fantastic varsity debut with 11 points, 2 steals and 2 assists. Shannon Moore hit for 11 points and 9 rebounds, providing a nice spark off the bench. Michala Walther chipped in with 9 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals. Senior forward Kristen Stude made a triumphant return from ACL surgery and finished with 9 points, 6 boards, and 4 steals.
The Beacons will be on the road next week. They will travel to Providence Academy on Monday, December 9th for a 7:00 game, and then will play at Fridley on Friday, December 13th at 7:15.
