CA vs. Roosevelt

Vs. Minneapolis Roosevelt (55-66-L)

The Beacons hit a bump in the road against a very aggressive Roosevelt squad.  CA couldn’t match the intensity or mental toughness of the Teddies and couldn’t get the ball in the hoop enough to keep this one close.  The game see-sawed back and forth early, but the Teddies made a run just before halftime and extended their lead in the second half before the Beacons made one last final run in the closing minutes.  But, by then it was too late.  Michala Walther hit for 18 points and 8 rebounds.  Cassandra Adams shot 3/6 on her way to 10 points, 4 boards and 2 steals.  Megan Fallert was terrific on the boards, pulling down 10 rebounds in the loss.
