CA vs. DeLaSalle

Vs. DeLaSalle  (35-70-L)

The Beacons played at home against a very talented DeLaSalle squad.  The Beacons were in the game early, and trailed by only six with just under 3 minutes to go in the first half.  However, a Islander run just before intermission extended the lead to 12.  The Beacons gave up another big run to open the second period and were never able to recover despite playing DeLaSalle even for over 10 minutes of the second half.  The Beacons were done in by 26 turnovers and failed to have a player reach double figures in scoring.  Kristen Stude and Kayleigh Sellner led the way with 8 points each and Sellner had an amazing 12 rebounds, including 8 offensive boards.  Jacquelyn Waedekin (4 points, 4 boards) and Cassandra Adams (3 rebounds 2 steals) were sparks off the bench in the loss.
