Beacons Win Opener

Concordia (1-0) goes on the road for the first game on the season and defeats Trinity (0-2) 53-39.  The beacons took at 20-11 halftime lead by playing great defense and forcing 11 turnovers.  Trinity would tie the game in the 2nd half 24-24 but Concordia would keep the defensive pressure on and finish the game on a 17-9 run for the victory. 

Alex Galloway led all scorers with 13 points.  Will Preble had 11 pts. Jared Schneidermman added 8 pts. and 13 rbs.

Next up Concordia hosts North Branch on Friday.  Game time is 7pm
