Concordia (8-9) gets a big conference win on Friday 6-0 over St. Paul Academy.  Brock Thompson gets the win pitching a complete game shutout giving up only four hits.  The beacons played great defense making the entire day  turning two double plays. 

Concordia took the early lead in the third scoring three runs highlighted by a two RBI triple from Gavin Farley.  Marcos Rodriguez would score Farley with a groundball out to the second baseman.  In the fourth, Matt Cramer would add another run with an RBI single scoring Lorin Edmond.

SPA would put their ace on the mound in the fifith down 4-0 and the becons would score two more runs in the sixth on a two RBI triple from Alex Galloway.  Brock Thompson was in control of the strike zone all day getiing his fourth victory of the year.

Next up Concordia travels to Delano for a two game tournament.  Noon vs. Kasson Mantorville then play the winner/loser of Delano vs. St. Anthony.
