Several Cardinals named to 2011 DIVISION I All-Southwest District Teams

Congratulations to both JOE BOLDEN and ANDRE JONES as they were named to the 2011 Division I All-Southwest District First team.  Their work on defense is being recognized as the best at their positions in the entire Soutwest region of the State of Ohio which includes the Cincinnati and Dayton areas.

Further SPECIAL CONGRATULATIONS to Sr. LB JOE BOLDEN who was named the 2011 Division I All-Southwest District First Team Defensive Player of the year!  Quite an accomplishment for the Michigan bound Senior.

But the good news doesn't end there!  The Second team is loaded with Cardinals as well.  FOUR Cardinals were named to the Ohio Division I All-Southwest District team.  They are:

Ben Scherrer (Sr-TE)
Dylan Wiesman (Jr-OL)
Jackson Sorn (Jr-RB)
Jake Blust (Sr-LB)

The six combined players on the first and second team were more than any other school in the Soutwest District!  This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of these young men as well as the guidance and encouragement from their coaches and family members.

Congratulations to all of those recognized for their outstanding efforts this past football season and best of luck to our Seniors as they prepare to finish off their Senior years at Colerain.
