Colerain vs Harrison

The varsity soccer team defeated Harrison by a score of 4 to 1 for their first win of the season. The Cardinals got off to a fast start when Abby Feuchter scored in the 2^nd minute of the game. Julia Flagge-Echoles found the back of the net in the 4^th minute to give the lady Cards a quick 2 goal lead.  Harrison scored in the 33^rd minute to cut the lead to one at half time.  The second half starting with more scoring by the Cardinals. Mary Flischel score in the 42^nd minute and Abby Feuchter added her second goal of the evening in the 52^nd minute. Your Cardinal defense led by sweeper – Kayla Work and goalie – Kaitlen Yeary, held the Wildcats scoreless in the second half.

 In the first game of the evening, the JV contest ended in a 0 to 0 draw. The two evenly matched teams both played good defense not allowing many opportunities for scoring.
