In the final week of the cross country season, two Cardinal individuals raced their hearts out for a phenomenal finish at the Cross Country Division I State Championship at Scioto Downs. Senior Allison Steinbeck finished her cross country career by placing 19th overall with a time of 18:35, a personal best time. Sophomore Kristen Seiler, meanwhile, capped off her first cross country season with a 24th place finish in a time of 18:41, also a personal best. Both girls qualified for the All-State team with their fantastic performances. Over the season, both Allison and Kristen earned spots as two of the top ten fastest girls in an illustrious school history that includes 4 state titles and several more top 4 team finishes. Allison will continue her running career next year at Taylor University, while Kristen will be returning to try to bring her whole team to state next year. Both girls also expect to make noise in track this spring. Thanks to all the fans who followed the team this season!

And Special Thank you to Senior Brendan McDonough for Providing us with these Cross Country articles the past 2 years and Good Luck to him and all the Seniors as they move forward to opportunities in their lives.
