To Whom it may concern:
Dakota Wesleyan University is proud to announce the signing of Ben Spitznagel of Colerain High School to a baseball scholarship starting the fall of 2013. We feel Ben is the perfect example of what we strive to look for in representatives of student athletes to our school. Character and integrity are high on our list, and Ben has an abundance of both. On top of that, we feel he may be one of the most athletically talented players we’ve signed in recent memory and expect great things from him on the baseball diamond as well as the classroom. He has the ability to develop into the type of player that you can build a team and program around. Since the time we discovered Ben, he immediately went to the top of our recruiting list. We consider ourselves extremely blessed he chose DWU over the other schools that were recruiting him. It’s been my pleasure to get to know Ben and his family throughout the recruiting process. His tight knit family was a great example of what we try to achieve as a baseball program at Dakota Wesleyan University, and that’s why we are certain Ben will be the leader of our program for the next four years. It’s our pleasure to welcome Ben Spitznagel to the Dakota Wesleyan family. LET’S GO TIGERS!
