DeKalb, senior, outside hitter
The Daily Chronicle Girls Volleyball Player of the Year led DeKalb with 269 kills and had a .297 hitting percentage. Bemis also had 59 aces and led the Barbs to their second straight Northern Illinois Big 12 championship. The senior will attend Arizona next fall.
Katy Dudzinski
Kaneland, senior, outside hitter
The Wichita State recruit was one of the most powerful outside hitters in the area. The senior led Kaneland with 304 kills and helped keep the Knights competitive in the Northern Illinois Big 12.
Kylie Siebert
Kaneland, senior, libero
Siebert was named MVP of the Northern Illinois Big 12 conference. The top libero in the area had 576 digs on the season.
Jessica Schafer
DeKalb, senior, middle blocker
Schafer was the central piece for DeKalb’s tall, formidable front line. The senior had 76 blocks and 135 digs this season.
Baleigh Euhus,
DeKalb, senior,
libero/outside hitter
Euhus was an All-Area outside hitter last season, but coach Stephanie Gooden switched her to libero to start the year. Euhus had 297 digs this year, but Gooden decided to switch her back to outside hitter at the end of the season. The versatile Euhus had 38 kills this season.
