A four-year varsity starter. For the first time in a few years, Barbs’ coach John Cordes will have to look for a new anchor next season.
Nick Bourdages
DeKalb, senior
A sectional qualifier along with Struthers, Bourdages kept the Barbs in contention for the Northern Illinois Big 12 East title.

Hinckley-Big Rock junior
An early contender for next season’s Daily Chronicle Player of the Year, Winkle headlined a resurgent season for the Royals.
He led H-BR to a 9-1 Little Ten Conference record, LTC title and a second-place individual finish at the Little 10 Conference Tournament.
