G-K well practiced

Andrea Strohmaier turned a good practice round Monday into a 98 in the Big Northern Conference Meet on Wednesday at Timber Point in Belvidere.

While the rain has limited the Cogs’ on-course practice time, Strohmaier fed off the good vibes from Monday’s practice round.

“The good round on Monday really paid off,” G-K coach Mike Lauer said. “We’ve had brutal weather the last few days, but we hope her hot play this week is something that will continue into regionals.”
