Driven to a fix

After a 205-212 loss to Rockford Lutheran, Genoa-Kingston coach Mike Lauer worked with Andrea Strohmaier to straighten out her driver swing off the tee. Strohmaier has the athletic ability and experience to join teammate Emily Wakeley at the top of the Cogs’ lineup.

“We worked driver and hope that it’s something she can get together,” said Lauer after his No. 2 fired off a 52. “She has the ability to score out there.”
