Cogs win conference opener

Genoa-Kingston High School Adam Price had 17 points for Genoa-Kingston in the Cogs’ 46-27 win over Harvard. Price was the only player in double figures for G-K, which had a tough time against the Hornets’ zone defense.
“It frustrated us at times,” G-K coach Corey Jenkins said. “Shots weren’t dropping. We were forcing a little bit too much. But a win’s a win.”
The Cogs are now 6-1 and 1-0 in the Big Northern East.
