G-K basketball holds off Stillman Valley, improves to 4-1

Genoa-Kingston High SchoolGenoa-Kingston boys basketball team almost let an 18-point halftime lead slip away, but the Cogs held on for a 55-49 victory over Stillman Valley on the road.
Adam Price led the Cogs with 23 points while freshman Tommy Lucca added 15 in the victory.
"We played pretty solid defensively in that first half," G-K coach Cory Jenkins said. "They clawed to get back in it the second half."
G-K (4-1) goes on the road to Woodstock North on Tuesday.
