Lucca leads Cogs

Tommy Lucca shot a 41, earning medalist honors for Genoa-Kingston in a 171-195 win over Somonauk. Nick Adamcyk finished with a 42 for the Cogs, while Jake Langford had a 43 and Mason Lucca finished with a 45 for G-K (10-4).

“It’s nice to go on the road and get a win, and that was probably a couple of strokes above our average,” Cogs coach Mike Lauer said. “The kids did a nice job playing tonight. This course can be a tough course. Pleased with tonight’s effort.”

Alex Moyer had a 41 for the Bobcats. Trevor McCoy finished with a 46.
