Wakeleyâ??s 39 leads Cogs to dual victory

The Genoa-Kingston girls golf team had little trouble dispatching Harvard in a dual meet on Monday at Beaver Creek Golf Course, winning 169-222.

Emily Wakeley was the meet medalist with a 39, while Andrea Strohmaier shot a 40 and Gabby Galauner added a 42.

“We have a lot of momentum and state is really a conceivable option,” G-K coach Darrin LaForce said. “Our team is improving pretty quickly. They’re really getting better quickly.”
