Genoa-Kingston pitcher Adam Price gave up two earned runs for the Cogs in a 7-0 loss to Burlington Central. He finished with six walks and six strikeouts.
G-K committed eight errors.
“[Price] did a phenomenal job,” Cogs coach Josh Latimer said. “It shows that we can compete with the Burlington Central’s. Honestly, we’re just giving games away.”
Mason Lucca and Andrew Oplt were each 1 for 3 for G-K.
