Adam Price threw a complete game, striking out 10 and walking only two in a 5-4 win for the Genoa-Kingston baseball team Tuesday against North Boone.

“Adam was absolutely phenomenal tonight,” G-K coach Josh Latimer said. “He was a gamer on the mound.”

With the Cogs (3-12, 1-2 Big Northern Conference) trailing, 4-1, going into the seventh, G-K clawed its way back and William Waugh drove in Eric Tucker with a hit to right field for the game-winning run.

“It’s just great that the kids never gave up,” Latimer said.

Matt Rasmussen went 3 for 4 with a run scored for G-K. Jake Langford was 1 for 4 with a stolen base and a run scored.
