Cogs blank North Boone

 Genoa-Kingston defeated North Boone, 6-0, allowing only one shot on net. Shannon Schumacher had a hat trick for the Cogs (6-5, 2-2 Big Northern). Ariel Rylko scored twice and Ashley Grimm added a goal.

“We did a good job controlling the game today,” G-K coach Randy Tate said. “Ariel Rylko played well in the midfield along with Ashley Grimm. They were able to push the ball forward and our strikers were able to get several shots on frame.”
