Schumacher leads Cogs

Shannon Schumacher scored five goals in a 6-1 Genoa-Kingston victory against Plano. Jessie Dwyer scored the other goal and had two assists for the Cogs (5-5).

"We were able to put a lot of pressure on their defense today and worked the ball well in the attacking third of the field which opened up some space for our forwards," G-K coach Randy Tate said. "The result was a five goal game for Shannon. She was very patient and took some nice open looks at goal."
