April 16, 2012
Genoa-Kingston High SchoolShannon Schumacher had a hat trick and an assist, and Genoa-Kingston beat Harvard, 6-0. Vivana Beltran, Julia Mendoza and Ariel Rylko each added a goal for the Cogs (4-4, 1-1 BNC).
“It was great to get Shannon back on the field after a month off because of a concussion,” G-K coach Randy Tate said. “She made an immediate impact with two quick goals at the start of the game and one at the start of the second half. Overall we played solid all around as a team.”
