2. Sycamore (2-3): Spartans haven’t had a complete team yet for a number of reasons.
3. DeKalb (0-1-1): As usual, DeKalb is staying competitive through a tough nonconference schedule.
4. Kaneland (1-2): Young Knights are competitive, but are searching for consistency.
5. Genoa-Kingston (2-3): Cogs have the firepower. Can defense keep up?
6. Indian Creek (1-4-1): Timberwolves showing some fight against bigger teams.
7. Hiawatha (0-4-1): Hawks are young and inexperienced, but are hoping for a midseason turnaround.
