Mason Dixon indoor high school state 3a championship Saturdayafternoon was exciting for all the athletes, coaches, and their families

It was a day of Kentucky's national rank track and field athletes all in one place. But the biggest upset of the evening was Louisville waggener high school girls track team winning the girls 3a state championship for the first time in school history. With only a hand full of girls and with a new coach (Coach Harrison) battling all the way with track power house DuPont manual, sacred heart, and north Hardin. it was the final race of the day the mile relay and the score depended on the winning team. The girls was exhausted but after the coach told them if they could beat out the closest scoring team the could have a chance of winning it all. The girls gave everything the had and fault to the end with heart. Coming in second in their heat beating the trailing team and winning the championship.
