Update 5.19

May 19, 2014
By Timothy Bowdern of CNR Summer Basketball

Coaches,

I willl keep this short as we are scheduling 14 hours a day to get you when we promised which was this Friday.  We are about 80 percent done but the last twenty takes the longest as once we get done with the scheduling we have to go back and fill gaps in gyms and eliminate nights we use some sites.  If we can't use the facility full it defeats the purpose of renting it.  Anyway, I did want to attach the latest list of teams as many of you request that.  This is our largest ever for youth teams. That too has created more "tagged" teams with mulitple teams coached by one person that adds to the scheduling aspect but by now we master that element.  If you see any mistakes with your team on number of games played let us know ASAP.  Here is our timeline to get the league started:

First Draft Released - Friday, May 23rd at 3:00 p.m.  At that point we will also send out a form for you to let us know any mistakes we made around your conflicts.  We will probably have a team or two that put themselves in the wrong division and want changes also as that happens too. Basically, we have the Memorial Weekend to work and change any things that need to be done.

Final Draft Released - Wednesday, May 28th at 3:00 p.m. - That is the draft you can release to parents. I will say teams playing the first week will know that Friday so it's not ideal but the closest we can do to do this right.

Tip-off Classic:  Last call if you are interested in playing in the Tip-off Classic which is June 7-8 at local gyms.  You can play a minimum of three games or whatever amount you want and the days you want to play.  Jeremy can schedule around whatever conflicts you have like this league.  Just let him know.  As soon as the league is done being scheduled the tip-off classic schedule will also.  You can pay at the tournament as no money is needed upfront.

Payment:  Payment for the league can be mailed in or brought to your first game.  Payments can be mailed to Mike Reinhardt at 2031 Yale Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63143-1426. If you need to go through your school district please submit them early so it's not August till we get them.  If you need a W-9 for your district just let Mike know and he can get that right back to you.

I said I wanted to keep this short so for once I actually will.  Let me know if you need anything and we will be back later this week with our first schedule release for the league. Thanks for reading and have a great week, Scott.
