Home » Athletics NewsWinter all-Conference Indiana honors announcedMarch 25, 2011 Columbus North High SchoolAthletes and coaches from the eight-member Conference Indiana high schools have been recognized in six sports with 2010-11 winter all-conference honors. Athletes in boys basketball and girls basketball were selected following a vote of conference coaches on Wednesday, March 23. Athletes in boys swimming, girls swimming, gymnastics and wrestling have known of their selections since the conference meet in their sport because accolades in each are based on performance in those events. Coach of the Year awards were determined by a vote of conference coaches in all sports. Those voted as Coach of the Year were Mark James of Franklin Central in boys basketball; Larry Winters of Bloomington South and Pat McKee of Columbus North, co-winners in girls basketball; Kim Dykes of Franklin Central in gymnastics; Kyle Ruth of Bloomington South in boys swimming; Jim Sheridan of Columbus North in girls swimming; and Jim Tonte of Perry Meridian in wrestling.
