Four Columbus North players chosen all-state in girls tennis

    The Columbus North doubles tandem of senior Sara Vanderkolk and junior Sydney Anderson have been chosen second-team all-state by the Indiana High School Tennis Coaches Association.
    Vanderkolk and Anderson compiled a 15-5 record together at No. 1 double for the Bull Dogs as CN posted a 16-9 mark in 2014.
    Vanderkolk was 15-5 in doubles, all with Anderson. She also was 1-0 at No. 2 singles. Anderson was 16-8 in No. 1 doubles, going 1-3 with other partners. She also was 1-0 at No. 2 doubles with another partner.
    Freshman Aubrey Smith and sophomore Paige Littrell were recognized as honorable mention all-state in singles. Smith went 13-11 at No. 1 singles for the Columbus North. Littrell went 13-11 at No. 2 singles for the Bull Dogs. Smith and Littrell teamed to go 1-0 at No. 1 doubles.
