Unusual for an all-star game, the game was decided in the final moments by a defensive play. Ahead one with enough time for one possession, Terhune's Tyler Wideman of Lake Central made a last-second block of Hickory's Jordan Furlow of Speedway as time ran out in the boys' game.
Aaron Korn of Frankton led the Hickory boys with 18 points. Furlow and Indianapolis Tech's Jeremie Tyler each scored 16 points in support of Korn.
Earlier, Columbus North's Tayler Goodall scored 13 points to help the Terhune girls top Hickory 116-101. Miss Basketball Whitney Jennings of Logansport paced Terhune with 23 points.
Kelsey Cunningham of Columbus North scored nine points for the Hickory girls.
