Columbus North, Columbus East girls' tennis suspended by rain

    COLUMBUS, Ind. -- Columbus North was up 2-1 in girls tennis with two matches in progress against rival Columbus East on Monday (April 14) when play was suspended because of rain.
    The match will resume at 5 p.m. Wednesday (April 16).
    Junior Meagan Olibo prevailed at No. 3 singles and classmates Rosemary Yonushonis and Brooke Richardson won at No. 2 doubles in matches on the Olympians' courts.
    Sophomore Paige Littrell dropped her match at No. 2 singles.
    Freshman Aubrey Smith was in the second set at No. 1 singles, while senior Sara Vanderkolk and junior Sydney Anderson were in the second set at No. 1 doubles.
    CN entered the match with a 2-2 record, while Columbus East entered with a 1-1 mark.
    The Bull Dogs' next scheduled match is at 5:30 p.m. Thursday (April 17) when they host Bloomington North.
