South Dearborn defeats Columbus North 11-1 in softball

    AURORA, Ind. -- South Dearborn defeated Columbus North 11-1 in six innings Tuesday (April 1) in the season-opening high school softball game for the Bull Dogs.
    Senior Molly Crowe stroked two hits and scored the lone run for CN, crossing the plate on an RBI double by senior Shannah Hercamp.
    Sophomore Christine Bombardiere and junior Sheana Wasilewski also had singles for the Bull Dogs.
    Crowe was the losing pitcher.
    Columbus North returns to action at 6 p.m. Friday (April 4) when it visits East Central.
