CN's Glover selected boys soccer State Coach of the Year

Columbus North boys soccer coach Andy Glover has been selected State Coach of the Year for 2013 by the National Federation of State High School Associations.
Glover guided the Bull Dogs to a 19-1-1 record last fall, spending virtually the entire season ranked first in Indiana and as high as sixth in the national rankings issued by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
In five seasons as Columbus North head coach, Glover's teams have amassed an 83-14-16 record with a state championship in 2012. In addition, his Bull Dogs have captured five sectional, four regional and two semistate titles.
In addition, CN players have been recognized with all-state accolades from the Indiana Soccer Coaches Association on 17 occasions during his tenure.
>> First-team all-state honorees include Matt McKain (2009), Devon Orben (2011), Brad Shaw (2012), Reid Wilson (2012), Andre Abedian (2013) and Riley Belding (2013).
>> Second-team all-state selections were Dylan Lax (2009), Andy Kaplan (2009), Devon Orben (2010), Nathan Kaplan (2011), Andre Abedian (2012) and Will Bridgeman (2013).
>> Third-team all-state choices were Alex Kaiser (2011), Cameron Robertson (2011) and Chase Francoeur (2012).
>> Honorable mention all-state picks have been Axel Rosado (2009) and Alex Kaiser (2010).
Glover has displayed a vast knowledge of soccer with many achievements over the years. He holds a NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and USSF D license. He played college soccer at Franklin College, and he previously was chosen State Coach of the Year in 2012 by the ISCA.
The NFHS recognizes coaches at the state, sectional (multi-state) and national levels. Glover's selection as the State Coach of the Year makes him eligible for consideration for sectional and national awards.
