Four Columbus North boys basketball players have received recognition from the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association.
Seniors Sawyer Glick and Tori Jackson were honorable mention picks for the IBCA/Subway Senior All-State team, while junior Evan Henry and sophomore Josh Speidel received honorable mention accolades for the IBCA/Subway Underclass All-State team.
Henry, a 6-2 guard, averaged 14.0 points and 3.8 rebounds while shooting 46 percent from the field and 79 percent on free throws in leading the balanced Bull Dogs to a 23-2 season that included a sectional championship.
The 6-4 Glick added 13.0 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.2 steals while shooting 45 percent from the field and 65 percent on free throws.
Speidel, a 6-7 forward, provided averages of 12.4 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists while shooting 51 percent from the field and 73 percent on free throws.
The 6-8 Jackson contributed 10.6 points and a team-high 7.5 rebounds while shooting 65 percent from the field and 74 percent on free throws.
Glick and Jackson also recently were named to Hoosier Basketball Magazine's list of Top 100 Seniors. That makes them eligible to be selected to the HBM Top 60 Senior Workout on April 7. The invitations for that event will be announced in late March.
