Home » Wrestling NewsColumbus North wrestlers cruise past SeymourJanuary 3, 2013 Columbus North High School SEYMOUR, Ind. -- The Columbus North wrestling team posted pins at six positions Thursday night (Jan. 3) en route to a 48-25 victory over host Seymour.
Junior Cody Speaker notched the first fall at 120 pounds, while senior Armando Cordova recorded a pin at 170 pounds. Junior Luke Teague won by pin at 182 pounds, and senior Luis Cambron collected a fall at 195 pounds. Sophomore Brandon Woods posted a pin at 220 pounds, and junior Will Speaker notched the final pin at 113 pounds.
The Bull Dogs also received wins from junior Chase Chapman at 152 pounds and senior Chase Johnson at 160 pounds. Also, junior Evan Speaker won by forfeit at 106 pounds.
Columbus North is back in action at 8:30 a.m. Saturday (Jan. 5) when it competes in the Corydon Central Invitational.
