Columbus North freshman boys basketball defeats Bloomington North 44-34

Columbus North High School BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Drew Schoeberl scored 14 points and Collin Lollar added 11 on Monday evening (Nov. 26), leading the Columbus North freshman boys basketball team to a 44-34 season-opening victory at Bloomington North.
Sean Dasovich chipped in seven points and Alex Algee had six for the Bull Dogs.
Bloomington North (1-1) took a 22-19 lead at the half, but Columbus North rallied for a 31-28 edge at the third stop. The Bull Dogs then pulled way to seal the decision over the final six minutes.
Columbus North returns to action on Friday (Nov. 30) when it hosts Shelbyville as part of a tripleheader. JV and freshman games begin at 6 p.m., and the varsity follows the JV about 7:30 p.m. CN boys basketball also hosts Martinsville on Saturday (Dec. 1) on the same time schedule.
