CN's Sollman helps Indiana girls to win in Mideast cross country

Columbus North High School KETTERING, Ohio — Senior Rachael Sollman of Columbus North finished 14th on Saturday to help the Indiana girls to a victory over three other states in the Mideast Cross-Country Championships.
Sollman finished in 18 minutes, 45 seconds for 5,000 meters and was the sixth runner for Team Indiana. Warsaw senior Ashley Erba, the 2011 Indiana state champ and 2012 state runner-up, led a 1-2-3 Indiana finsih as the Hoosier squad scored 29 points. Ohio was second with 37 followed by Illinois with 96 and Michigan with 100.
The Indiana boys finished third with 48 points. Michigan and Illinois both scored 42, with Michigan winning on the better sixth finisher.
