Columbus North freshman volleyball drops two in invitational

Columbus North High School COLUMBUS, Ind. -- Rachel Copeland went 11-of-11 on serves with an ace Wednesday evening (Oct. 3), but it wasn't enough as the Columbus North freshman volleyball team dropped two matches in the CN Freshman Invitational.
Sydney Talkington contributed seven assists for the Bull Dogs, who fell 13-15, 15-12, 15-10 to New Albany and 15-8, 15-8 to Floyd Central.
Both New Albany and Floyd Central went 2-0 for the event, while Jennings County also went 0-2.
New Albany topped Jennings County 15-8, 15-11, and Floyd Central defeated Jennings County 15-13, 15-6.
