Columbus North softball drops Hauser 8-4

Columbus North High School COLUMBUS, Ind. -- The Columbus North softball team defeated Hauser 8-4 on Thursday (May 17) in the final regular-season home game of the season.
The Bull Dogs improved to 15-10 with the victory.
They close their regular season Saturday (May 19) in the Mt. Vernon Invitational. CN faces New Castle at 10 a.m. to open that competition. The Bull Dogs will face either Elwood or the host Marauders later Saturday.
Columbus North then moves to sectional competition. It drew a first-round bye and will play Bloomington North at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday (May 22) at Lincoln Park in Columbus in a sectional semifinal. If the Bull Dogs win, they will advance to the sectional final at 7 p.m. Thursday (May 24) at Lincoln Park.
