Home » Football NewsTwo Columbus North players chosen IFCA all-Region 10January 13, 2012 Columbus North High School Columbus North seniors Kyle Kamman and Christian Williams have been to the Indiana Football Coaches Association's all-Region 10 squad, it was announced Friday (Jan. 13).
Their selection makes them candidates for the 2012 Indiana North-South All-Star Game that will be played in July. Players chosen for that game will be announced in early March. Kamman was selected as a quarterback and Williams was honored as a wide receiver.
The 6-1, 180-pound Kamman completed 142 of 248 passes for 2,095 yards and 20 touchdowns as a senior, leading the Bull Dogs to an 8-4 record. His yardage figure was the third-best season in CN annals, and his two-year career total of 3,940 passing yards is second best in school history. He threw for 301 yards against Center Grove, the second most in CN single game.
Williams, a 6-1, 190-pound receiver, finished his season with 51 receptions for 593 yards and five touchdowns. That catch total was the second most for a Columbus North season. Williams' two-year total of 71 receptions is fourth on the Bull Dogs' career list.
