Kevin Cripe singled in the first run of the game in the second inning and scored what proved to be the winning run on a wild pitch in Clinton Prairie's 2-1 semifinal victory over Clinton Central.
Cy Dieter (4-3) pitched six shutout innings and ended up with a five hitter for the Gophers (8-11).
Rossville also advanced to the finals with a 9-4 victory over Frankfort. Mason Roberts struck out 14 over six innings. Cody Disinger's three-run homer highlighted a six-run fifth inning. Levi Moore was 2-for-2 with three runs scored.
The championship game was suspended in the bottom of the second inning due to rain with Rossville leading 4-0.
