Cross Country Team Ends Season with Great Performances

The Clinton Cross Country Teams traveled to the Missouri State Cross Country Meet on November 9th. The Cardinals earned a 14th place boys team finish and saw two individuals earn high honors.
Derek Lee placed 8th for the Cardinals and earned his first all-state honor. Other members of the boys team where Jared Goodbrake, Matt Knott, Zach Harris and Cole Ashworth.  The girls team qualified two members Chelsea Rice and Sierra Jenkins.  Sierra was state champion with a dramatic finish as she kicked down two Potosi girls for the victory.
