Home » Cross Country NewsCROSS COUNTRY: Girls placed 4th at State; Boys placed 6thNovember 8, 2011 Cleveland High SchoolOn a cold, rainy day on the challenging state championship course at Lane Community College, the Cleveland Girls Cross Country team finished 4th and made the podium with a phenominal team preformance. (It is believed to be the highest finish by the girls team in school history). Leading the way was freshman Emma Wren, finishing 11th in 19 min. 21 sec. (a personal record by 26 seconds).
All seven of the girls ran amazingly well:
The Cleveland Boys Cross Country team finished 6th overall. All seven guys ran great, led by Chris Hinkle in 14th.
