BASEBALL: Cleveland loses to Centennial

April 1, 2014
Cleveland High School

Cleveland's road warriors played their third game away from home. Plenty of runners on base, bats go silent with runners in scoring position. Another good pitching performance by the Warriors; unfortunately, defense faltered, and one run won't do it today in a 5-1 loss to Centennial HS.

Cray Hamilton went a 4 1/3 with good command of his pitches. Campbell Sparks and Eli Morse also combined on the remaining 1 2/3. Cleveland will be back in action Monday at North Marion vs. Cascade, 6:00 P.M.
