They started off with the District Meet held at Dishman Pool on February 8 and 9 and finished with the State Meet on February 15 and 16 at Mt. Hood Community College. At the District Meet, there were many personal records set as well as four district records. (We also qualified 21 swimmers for the State Meet.) Several highlights for the girls team include:

On the final day of the State Meet, Ida Donohue stepped it up. She was seeded in 2nd place in the finals for the 100 Yard Butterfly and blew away the competition. She had an amazing swim and is the new STATE CHAMPION IN THE 100 BUTTERFLY. She also earned a spot on the podium by placing 3rd in the 100 Breaststroke. "Way to represent Cleveland, Ida." Several other Cleveland athletes competed at the State Meet in individual events:
