The screenings, held in the Georgia Pacific Room of Memorial Coliseum, are for student athletes ages 13-19. Volunteer cardiologists, pediatricians, nurse practitioners, EKG technicians and lay volunteers review each athlete's family history, determine height, weight, blood pressure, body mass index, and do an EKG and a cardiac exam. Registration for this screening will begin in August 2011, but if you would like to be added to the preregistration list, be prepared to provide student name, date of birth and a current mailing address, then choose one of the following contact methods:
The David Heller Foundation sponsors the TACS program.
