October 17, 2011
By Wynette Jameson of Clear Creek High School

Please join me in congratulating Wynette Jameson, journalism teacher at Clear Creek High School, for her entrance in the Hall of Fame for online school newspapers! Ms. Wynette and the Clear Creek HiLife team continue to set the standard for student journalism.Dr Greg Smith Superintendent CCISD.

Congratulations!! This is awesome!  We are spoiled here at Creek, we have come to expect this sort of thing, from such an outstanding organization. Principal Scott Bockart

Yet again the Clear Creek HiLife is rated as the number one newspaper for the ihigh network. We have been the number one paper for them three years running. We are the only ihigh site to have held this honor. With thousands of websites in the network, the HiLife is proud to be at the top.

iHigh.com is also pleased to announce the inaugural members of the iHigh Hall of Fame. The class is comprised of seven schools who have performed exceptionally well over their years on the iHigh network. We are the only Texas school to make the cut.

See the photos of our Hall of Fame trophy. We are PROUD to be a charter member. We work hard to make sure our readers are informed and up to date on a daily basis.

We are nearing two million readers so keep looking. Our editor in chief, Ashley Farmer, has been chosen to write for the first group of teens at the Huffington Post High School page http://www.huffingtonpost.com/news/high-school. Her first story will appear shortly. We keep on winning at the National Edition at high school journalism. Check that out here http://www.ihigh.com/clearcreekhighschool/article_79657.html
